LEAGUE NOTICE

THE NEW SEASON IN GALWAY WILL BE STARTING THIS WEEKEND (11TH JANUARY 2009), ALL TEAMS WILL BE CONTACTED SHORTLY TO CONFIRM THERE ATTENDANCE FOR THE NEW SEASON. IF ANY TEAMS ARE INTERESTED IN JONING FOR THE NEW SEASON AND HAVING THE CHANCE TO REPRESENT GALWAY AT OUR NATIONAL TOURNAMENT IN WATERFORD ON 30TH MAY 2009, THEN THEY CAN DO SO BY SIMPLY CLICKING ON THE LINK BELOW OR CALL 0818 240 246 AND ASK FOR JAMES.

A dramatic end to the season in Galway with Westies snatching the title off the untocuhabbles on the last day both teams will be recieving there trophies shortly as well as there free invitation to our national tournament which will be held on 31st May 2009.

Galway Leisure Leagues: 6-a-side Soccer Round Up
Champions Designated Drinkers kicked off the season in the Drogheda six-a-side League in fine fettle, thumping Bellcotton Balls 8-3, in a game where Curtis Mead starred.

Castlewood Celtic were another side to begin the campaign with a victory, sneaking to a 4-3 success against Laytown Orient.

Elsewhere there were victories for The Celts Boys and Mean Machine.
