THE MAIN RULES
- The ball cannot go above head height
(head height is judged on the whole ball passing the
height above the tallest player on the
pitch.
- Sliding tackles are not
allowed.
- Back Passes to the keeper are allowed,
but only if the ball has touched two players or more
after leaving the keeper.
- When a goal is scored, play is
restarted from the keeper.
- The keeper must roll the ball out
below shoulder height.
- Substitutes are roll on, roll
off.
- No players are allowed in the
goalkeeper area.
- All free kicks are
indirect.
- Players must be 2 yards from free
kicks.

abuse towards official, plus other serious
incidents. Fine Band 4 £30.00

& Exclusion (red card) Includes physical
abuse towards official, plus other serious
incidents. Fine Band 5 £50.00
- In addition
referees have the authority to recommend exclusion
periods for players and if necessary the whole
team. - The referee issues the relevant
fine/exclusion by way of a fine sheet. - Fine sheets
should be sent to the UKIFF immediately after
leagues. - The UKIFF will then write to the Team
Captain, notifying him of the players fine and, where
relevant, exclusion period. - The referee will
receive a copy of any exclusion period issued to the
